We are sending a care package to Lily. The Red Thread is one of a few parties that put together and deliver packages to waiting children in social welfare institutes or foster homes in China. Ann, the woman who has been putting together everything for us, has been such a blessing. She sent photos this morning of the package going to Lily!
I had to e-mail her photos to put into the album. Also, she translates a letter for us to the staff there. I asked some questions about Lily and hope to get updated information. Also, there is a disposable camera that I hope is used to take photos of Lily. Sometimes (many times) there are no new updates, but sometimes people get new photos, a video even, and answers to their questions!
In any case, sending this to Lily felt like something we could do while waiting. And also a chance to thank those who have been caring for our tiny treasure.

Isn’t it so special to be able to send our waiting children gifts!!! I look forward to when we can do this also! We are PRAYING that we get the last thing we need to get authentication and send in the dossier SOON!!!! I am ready for a “new waiting” LOL
